WARRANTY TERMS
AGEON Electronic Controls Ltda. provides a warranty to end-user owners of its electronic equipment against any material or manufacturing defects, as described below:
The warranty period is 3-month legal period as evidenced by the invoice and the serial number printed on the product.
If a manufacturing defect is detected within the warranty period, the customer must send the defective product to the company’s headquarters. The customer is responsible for all transportation costs and the safety of the product during shipment and return.
Product inspection and repair under warranty may only be performed by AGEON. Any unauthorized repairs or modifications will void the warranty.
During the warranty period, the replacement of defective parts, components, and necessary labor will be provided free of charge, provided that AGEON’s technical department confirms a material or manufacturing defect.
This warranty does not cover repairs for damages resulting from:
5.1. Use of the product outside its intended purpose or application;
5.2. Normal wear and tear;
5.3. Failure to follow the product manual or any usage instructions;
5.4. Improper use;
5.5. Tampering, modification, or removal of the warranty seal or label;
5.6. Repairs, adjustments, or modifications not performed by AGEON;
5.7. Connection to inadequate electrical installations, excessive voltage fluctuations, or use outside the specifications stated in the manual;
5.8. Accidents, drops, exposure to excessive humidity, corrosion, or immersion in liquids.
This warranty does not cover:
6.1. Damage to packaging or the product’s external finish;
6.2. Products with altered, removed, or illegible serial numbers;
6.3. Products with invoices that have been modified, tampered with, or present irregularities.
This warranty is strictly limited to the repair, replacement, or modification of products that are proven to have material or manufacturing defects. AGEON shall not be liable for damages of any kind to other equipment or accessories not manufactured by AGEON, nor for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or business interruptions.
