Dual-voltage power supply (110 / 220 V) for induction motors up to 2 HP (8,5 A)

The IEX70 variable speed drivers were specially developed to control the speed of treadmills. They feature an exclusive design, compact format, and a protective enclosure that simplifies installation and prevents debris from entering the unit.

The IEX70 drivers support dual-voltage power supply (110 V or 220 V). They drive three-phase induction motors up to 2 HP (8,5 A), and a single board provides three operating modes: keypad, frequency, or serial control.

Configuration is quick and simple, performed through a selector switch, and the onboard control keys allow testing without the need to install an external control panel.

Recommended motor potency: Three-phase, 2 HP;

Maximum voltage output: 8, A;

Rated input current: 28 A – 110 V / 14 A – 220 V;

Input voltage: 110 V or 220 V (±10 %);

Input frequency: 60 Hz (± 2 %);

Switching frequency: 10 kHz;

Control type: V/F;

Operating temperature: (0 to +40) °C;

Relative humidity: (5 to 90) %RH (noncondensing);

Digital inputs:

     Keypad mode: 4 opto-isolated digital inputs, individual consumption 10 mA / +5 V;

     Frequency mode: Output frequency = input frequency / 2;

     RS600 serial mode: Isolated serial input for use with RS600 panels;

     Ageon serial mode: Isolated serial input for use with Ageon panels.

Hardware protection temperature: 100 °C;

Protection index: IP20;

Acceleration ramp: 15 s;

Deceleration ramp: 15 s;

Minimum frequency output: 5 Hz;

Maximum frequency output: 150 Hz;

Internal supply outputs: +5 V and +12 V (200 mA);

Variable speed drivers for treadmills

IEX70 was developed specifically for controlling the speed of treadmills. With its exclusive design, compact shape and protective enclosure to make installation easy.

Three functioning modes

The IEX70 configuration is simple thanks to the DIP switch, which allows the inverter to be set for different operating modes: Keypad Mode, Frequency Mode, and Serial Mode. Each mode requires a specific terminal configuration, ensuring compatibility with the main communication methods used in treadmill control panels available on the market.

Keypad for manual command

The IEX70 features manual control keys that allow testing functions such as the safety switch, acceleration, deceleration, and stop directly on the driver. This functionality simplifies field testing by eliminating the need to install the control panel, providing greater convenience for maintenance and diagnostics of the panel, the driver, and other treadmill components.

HMI for treadmills

When combined with the Ageon treadmill control panel HMI (A5W), the Ageon driver uses serial communication, enabling advanced settings such as torque compensation, acceleration and deceleration ramps, and other parameter adjustments. Compatible with different inverters available on the market, the panel displays information such as heart rate, speed, elapsed time, distance traveled, and calories burned.
