AutomaSol TDA
The AutomaSol TDA differential temperature controller is designed for solar heating systems. This model features two relay outputs. The first output is used to activate the pump based on the temperature difference between the collectors and the storage tank. The second output can be used for auxiliary functions or filtration. Both outputs can be operated automatically or manually via the front panel keys.

Solar heating
The AutomaSol TDA is a controller designed to manage water heating systems for bathing with maximum efficiency. Equipped with three sensors (collector, storage tank, and point of use), it controls the circulation pump and the auxiliary system (gas or electric), ensuring constant thermal comfort. Its intelligent design provides energy savings and greater equipment durability, making it ideal for those seeking performance and practicality in heating systems.
Event schedule
The AutomaSol TDA automates the shutdown and activation of the auxiliary system at scheduled times, ensuring convenience and energy savings.

Output for Auxiliary System or Filtration
The AutomaSol TDA features a relay output that can be configured to activate an auxiliary system or for water filtration.

Pump Activation
In addition to automatic activation based on temperature differential, the AutomaSol TDA allows manual pump activation via the “PUMP” button, with the option to set a time for it to return to automatic mode, ensuring convenience and safety.

Surface Mount Installation
To facilitate access to the controller and adapt to different installation environments, the AutomaSol line features a surface-mount design, making installation simpler and more versatile, without the need for cutouts.
Frequently asked questions
The AutomaSol TDA controls the circulation pump based on the temperature difference between the collector and storage tank sensors, ensuring that water is circulated only when necessary to maximize system efficiency.
The AutomaSol TDA provides greater energy efficiency by optimizing the use of solar heating and the auxiliary system (gas or electric). In addition, with its scheduling function, it ensures water is at the desired temperature at the right times, helping to save energy by avoiding unnecessary system operation.
The E1, E2, and E3 errors indicate issues with the AutomaSol TDA’s temperature sensors. The controller has three sensors: collector, storage tank, and point of use.
- E1: Collector sensor error
- E2: Storage tank sensor error
- E3: Point-of-use sensor error
If any of these errors occur, check whether the sensor cables are disconnected or damaged. Make sure all connections are secure and in good condition to ensure proper controller operation.
The AutomaSol TDA is a controller by Ageon for water heating systems used for bathing. It manages temperature using three sensors (collector, storage tank, and point of use) and controls the circulation pump and the tank’s auxiliary system (gas or electric) to ensure the ideal temperature.
Yes, the AutomaSol TDA allows you to schedule the operation of the auxiliary system (gas or electric), ensuring that the water in the storage tank is available at the ideal temperature during defined periods. The system also enables manual activation or deactivation of the auxiliary heating, optimizing energy use and ensuring greater comfort.
Yes, the AutomaSol TDA can control both gas and electric auxiliary heating for the tank. Simply adjust the settings so the controller automatically activates the most suitable type of heating, depending on the system’s needs.
