The perfect solution for evaporative air coolers, IRX PRO is a variable speed driver that provides all the necessary functions for this application, such as: Climatizing, Ventilation, Air swing, Draining and Exhaustion. IRX PRO drives motors up to 3 HP, with versatile motor speed levels.

IRX PRO models provide a level sensor input and multiple protection parameters. The driver module must be installed inside the evaporative cooler due to its IP64 protection rating (water-jet resistant).

IRX PRO offers two HMI options for greater flexibility on installation with surface or flush mounting. It is also possible to separately acquire a remote controller.

Surface mounting HMI: available functions

The IRX Pro offers several functions accessible directly through the surface-mounted HMI, including drain, exhaust, swing/germicidal lamp control, timer, and automatic or manual mode selection.

Flush mounting HMI: available functions

The flush-mount IRX Pro HMI provides the main navigation and control functions, such as speed increase, speed decrease, and configuration. Compact and intuitive, it was designed to ensure easy installation and convenient daily operation.

RJ45 communication

The HMI communicates with the driver module through a CAT5e cable with RJ45 connection. The air cooler accompanies a standard 5 meters long cable, but it is possible to use a CAT5e cable up to 50 meters long, allowing for the ideal length for your application.

Programming key mode

IRX PRO’s HMI can function as a programming key, recording parameters to be “copied” and “pasted” in other IRX PRO drivers. This mode is very practical, especially for machine manufacturers because it considerably reduces the drivers’ configuration time.

Flame-retardant enclosure and cable glands

The enclosure and cable glands are made of flame-retardant materials, ensuring that fire doesn’t spread. This reflects our commitment to safety, ensuring that both the installation and the evaporative cooler are protected against any issues that may originate from the equipment. In addition, the polycarbonate enclosure is resistant to impact and abrasion, providing durability and reliability.

Two digital inputs

The IRX PRO features two digital inputs that enhance its functionality and safety. One allows the connection of a level sensor, protecting the pump against dry running and preventing damage such as motor burnout. The other input works as a start/stop command, making it ideal for integration with automation systems and enabling control beyond the HMI and remote control.

Autmatic temperature mode

With the IRX Pro, greater thermal comfort and energy efficiency can be achieved thanks to its automatic operation, which turns the evaporative cooler on or off to reach the configured target temperature. The unit includes an NTC 10k temperature sensor that can be installed in the surface-mounted HMI for monitoring. When automatic mode is activated, the cooler manages the systems efficiently, ensuring proper temperature control.
