IRX, the well established line of VSDs for evaporative air cooling has evolved! Meet IRX2 MAX!

The IRX2 drivers can be installed vertically or horizontally. Its design includes practical cable outlets for cable routing, eliminating the need for cable glands.

The version IRX2 MAX offers advanced resources such as water pump timer, automatic evaporative pad drying and water level sensor reading. It also features a dedicated button for activating the exhaust, drain, germicidal lamp, or swing functions.

Among its advantages are the temperature sensor for automatic control, communication test, digital input for water level sensor and compatibility with the HMI MultiCom. With MultiCom, IRX2 MAX allows for one HMI to control up to 16 drivers simultaneously, ensuring simple, economical and quick installation.

Using HMI MultiCom + WebFi, it’s possible to connect your drivers to the FlowIRX app, which provides scheduling on/off and draining cycle events, receiving notifications in real time and much more.

Surface mounting HMI: available functions

The IRX2 offers several functions accessible directly through the surface-mounted HMI, including drain, exhaust, swing/germicidal lamp control, timer, and automatic or manual mode selection.

Flush mounting HMI: available functions

The flush-mount IRX2 HMI provides the main navigation and control functions, such as speed increase, speed decrease, and configuration. Compact and intuitive, it was designed to ensure easy installation and convenient daily operation.

Easy mounting and compact size

IRX2’s compact design reflects our commitment to making for an easy installation. IRX2 can be mounted on horizontal or vertical surfaces, providing a flexible installation. Its structure has an exclusive system for applying a warranty seal that allows the installer to seal the product after installation.

Includes protection fuses

Besides the elevated terminals that make for easier handling and installation, IRX2 has individual fuses on each output. This configuration ensures greater protection, preventing damage to the driver’s components.

Cable glands not required

For easy installation, we projected IRX2 with side outlets inside the driver. This way, cable glands are not required, avoiding humidity inside the device.

RJ45 communication

The HMI communicates with the driver module through a CAT5e cable with RJ45 connection. The air cooler accompanies a standard 5 meters long cable, but it is possible to use a CAT5e cable up to 50 meters long, allowing for the ideal length for your application.

Programming key mode

IRX2’s HMI can function as a programming key, recording parameters to be “copied” and “pasted” in other IRX2 drivers. This mode is very practical, especially for machine manufacturers because it considerably reduces the drivers’ configuration time.

Flame-retardant enclosure and cable glands

The enclosure and cable glands are made of flame-retardant materials, ensuring that fire doesn’t spread. This reflects our commitment to safety, ensuring that both the installation and the evaporative cooler are protected against any issues that may originate from the equipment. In addition, the polycarbonate enclosure is resistant to impact and abrasion, providing durability and reliability.

Two digital inputs

The IRX2 features two digital inputs that enhance its functionality and safety. One allows the connection of a level sensor, protecting the pump against dry running and preventing damage such as motor burnout. The other input works as a start/stop command, making it ideal for integration with automation systems and enabling control beyond the HMI and remote control.

Automatic temperature mode

With the IRX2, greater thermal comfort and energy efficiency can be achieved thanks to its automatic operation, which turns the evaporative cooler on or off to reach the configured target temperature. The unit includes an NTC 10k temperature sensor that can be installed in the surface-mounted HMI for monitoring. When automatic mode is activated, the cooler manages the systems efficiently, ensuring proper temperature control.

Compatible with HMI MultiCom

IRX2 MAX is compatible with the HMI MultiCom, connecting up to 16 drivers per HMI. With HMI MultiCom + WebFi, the drivers can be integrated with the FlowIRX app, allowing for remote control and monitoring, sharing access to your devices and activation scheduling.
